Design felt alphabets for quiet books

How To make Felt Alphabets

Hellooo my dear mommies, teachers, educators,

I think felt Alphabets are a great idea for a soft felt book, or a cloth book. But cutting alphabelts that are exactly the same size & font can be a bit of a challenge. Following steps will show you how you can easily cut professional looking letters in just minutes.

What You will Need:

1. Multicolored felt sheets> Buy online
2. Scissors
3. Printed alphabets
4. Marker/Pen
5. Thread/Glue, whatever you prefer

Step 1:

The first step is quite straightforward. You need to print letters in your desired font and size. Because when you print them, there is no room for human error. If you don’t feel like going to the trouble of choosing fonts, and adjusting alphabet sizes, I have designed some printables that are just the right size for a felt book. I have made a complete set of alphabets, both capital and small in 3 different fonts. If you would like to receive a copy, simply pop in your email address below and you will receive a mail with all the printables in a few hours.

    Step 2:

Now simply cut the printed letters, and use them to trace and cut out your felt letters. Use multi colored felt sheets to make it attractive for the kids. Plus, if the letters are multi colored, you can always teach them colors along with the alphabet. Win-Win!

    Step 3:

Finally, you need your felt or cloth on which you are going to place the alphabet, and then sew it with a thread, or if you are not up for it, you can always use Fabric Glue.
