CHIMPS

CHIMPS Hammock Strap kit, is a set of two sturdy hanging straps that are used to hang hammocks and swings outdoors. Specifically to hang swings to trees.

I was asked to design everything from scratch, including logos, product and packaging, Instruction manuals and even social media graphics and ads to promote the product.

BRAND IDENTITY:

Brand Identity is who and what a brand is all about, and the message it wants to convey. The company, in this case, wanted this product to have an outdoorsy nature feel, with an eco friendly approach.

The Logo and the name CHIMPS, with the chimpanzee replacing the M sums up their product in entirety.

Chimpanzees (or chimps) are known for their love of swinging from trees and in a subtle way they convey the message of strength.

The green in their logo conveys their sustainable and eco friendly approach. Other logo variants are for printing on packaging and product.

BOX DESIGN:

The box for this product was designed with the same eco centric approach. They wanted a recycled cardboard box that conveyed their identity.

I designed the box on Coreldraw, and produced detailed mockups in Photoshop, so the manufacturer could have a clear picture of how the box was supposed to look.
