Count and color, simple counting printable book

Count and Color Printable Book for Preschool (Ages 3+)

You can download the printable book “Count and Color” Starter edition for FREE at the bottom of this post.

So, it has almost been a year since I decided to start blogging. I distinctly remember that it was sometime after my daughter’s 2nd birthday. Now she is about to turn 3, and this blog is growing with her. Nowadays, I have this new agenda going on a.k.a creating printable books.

I have been thinking about countless ideas, and already created a few of these books. My mission here is to help my daughter learn new things and have fun. So, as she grows, she associates learning with fun.

Most of the activities in this book and in all the books to come will be hands on. No more boring worksheets. Simple bright and colorful books to make learning the FUN-NEST thing in the world (if that’s even a word).

I hope I can make your life as a parent and/or a teacher much much easier.

Most of the books in printable book series are going to be for ages 3 and above. However, I may design a few books for some older kids as well (and save them for later), whenever inspiration strikes.

The Apple tree: Count and Color (starter pack)

This book is a starter edition. Meaning that it is for beginner level learning when kids are just starting out. The first page is an interactive counting chart with apples from 1 to 10.

The next pages are count and write and count and color where kids get to count, write and color all the apples in the apple tree.

Since this is a beginner level book, kids only get to count upto 15 apples maximum. This ensures that our little learners are not overwhelmed in their first days of learning.

Suggestions:

1. You can laminate these pages and keep using them again and again with a wipe clean marker.
2. You can also put the count and color worksheets in a clear file or folder and use with wipe clean markers.
3. You may also use the count and color sheets as Playdough mats. This means, that instead of coloring in the apples, kids may decide to fill the apples using playdough.
