How to Schedule Your Pins for free without Tailwind

Did You Know you can schedule Upto 30 pins on pinterest without using Tailwind??

I know Tailwind is all the rave right now. I agree. Its a great tool. A great automation tool that saves a huge amount of time.

But Did you know that you can schedule 30 pins (yes 30) with Date and Time for up to two weeks in advance, using the Pinterest Native Scheduler??

If you did, then good for you! Because the minute I found out about this, I was over the moon!

The thing is, that if you have been using pinterest mobile app for android, you will likely never find out about it. Because this scheduler is available on desktop and iOS.

This is how you will be able to schedule upto 30 pins on desktop:

Scheduling Pins on Pinterest:

Open Pinterest on your desktop or iOS. These screenshots are from my desktop. You will see a plus sign on the upper right hand corner. Click on it. A new page will open where you can drag and drop your pin.

Drag and drop your pin image in the given space or click on “save from site” button at the bottom, if you would like to pin an image directly from your website.

Add the title and description like you would normally do, add your link and choose the board that you want to publish it to. At the bottom, you can choose between publish immediately and publish at a later date.

When you choose the option to publish at a later date, you will see two selection menus. One for date, and one for time. Select the date and time on which you want to publish your pins and click publish. Note: If you are scheduling pins on let’s say Monday, then the publishing date will automatically be selected for Tuesday. But you can schedule your pin for the same day too by manually selecting the current date. I have recently read and heard people saying that you cannot schedule pins for the same day. But I have been scheduling pins for the same day over breakfast, every single day since the last month. So I know for a fact that you CAN schedule pins for the same day.

Scheduling Multiple Pins:

You can schedule upto 30 pins at a time. To schedule multiple pins, simply click on the plus button at the top left. You can add upto 30 pins.

Then quickly drag and drop your pins in the similar manner as above. If you see the screenshot below, you’ll see 4 of my pins on the left bar. Now I need to manually select each pin. Write title, descriptions, links, select board and publish!

In this manner, you can schedule pins for different times of the day.

A few drawbacks of Pinterest Native Scheduler:

However, I would like to point that the Pinterest native scheduler comes with a few drawbacks. 1. You cannot pin a single pin to multiple boards at a time. 2. You can only create and schedule pins. You cannot schedule repins. 3. You cannot schedule other people’s pins with this scheduler. 3. There is a limit of 30 pins that can be scheduled. No more. 4. The pins can be scheduled for upto 2 weeks only. So, as we saw, there are a few drawbacks with using Pinterest Native scheduler as compared to tailwind, but heyy, its free. And something is always better than nothing. Also, if you don’t have hundreds of pages and posts, then these 30 pins can be enough for a long time. So did you or did you not find this post useful??
