Recently in a gathering, I was sitting with some of my mommy friends, when one of my friend who has a 6 month old baby asked me what did I use to do to keep Hussaina entertained when SHE was a baby.
Quite frankly, I was totally blank! It seems like a lifetime ago when Hussaina was that little. Even though she’s like ONLY 3! Some of the other moms, who had kids that were Hussaina’s age, had similar reactions too! But ummm… after 10 minutes, I got my memories back (Haha), and I started remembering a lot of things that I used to do back when Hussaina was a 7 month old baby!!
So here’s a post for mommies who have little babies and some mommies like myself to take them back in TIME!
I started blogging in 2019, and my daughter was born in 2017, so I obviously do not have many activity photos from that time, but I have searched the internet for some great games for babies and baby approved activities written by other great mommy bloggers. Many of these things, I used to do myself, and some that I found really interesting and entertaining (and those I will do with my next one whenever he or she comes along :p)
Wow Alifiya this seems alot of help from you I was just looking for some games or activities for my 8 month old kid and here is your blog. Thank u for the great help. You do an amazing job
Those are great ideas. I wish I’d had this post when my two were babies. They both really enjoyed their mobile, and water play (supervised obviously).
These are so fun! My boys LOVED the pom drop activity when they were little (they are 8 now). If they were still little, I would be making those sensory floor mats for them right now, they look like something they would have enjoyed.
These are all such creative and clever ideas! I have a newborn little niece – will have to share this post with her parents in a few months! 🙂
There are so many clever ideas here. Thanks for sharing 🙂
These are so cute! The jello dig looks fun and tasty 🙂
I love these! So many cute and fun sensory activities for babies here! The jello dig looks so fun (and tasty) I never tried that with my little guy but if I have another, I definitely want to give it a go. thanks for sharing, these are so great!
These are really good ideas! My boys love anything that has to do with water or messy play.
I love the clever DIY ideas here! Those clear sensory bags are especially cool. One of my favorite activities along these lines for my daughters when they were 6-12 mos old was “edible art.” I’d put a plop of plain yogurt right on the feeding tray, and add a drop or two of food coloring, then let them swirl it around (and eventually stick it into their mouths 🙂 ).
